Using the site

Please use The Peacock Pour lawfully and considerately: no scraping, no attempts to compromise accounts, no uploading anything you don't have the right to. You must be 18 or over to use this site.

Your membership account

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything done under your account. You can delete your account at any time by asking us via the contact form.

Content and ownership

All words, photos, tasting notes and video published by us are © Jessica Peacock unless credited otherwise. You keep ownership of your Wine Journal entries and tasting notes; by choosing "share to members" you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display them to other signed-in members of the site. Making a note "public" additionally allows us to feature it in the diary.

Tasting bookings (placeholder — TBC)

For live online tastings and taste-along kits, our cancellation policy is currently: full refund for cancellations 7 or more days before the tasting; transfer to a future session for cancellations within 7 days. These terms are marked TBC and will be finalised before bookings go live.

Wine purchases via our merchant partner

The Peacock Pour does not sell alcohol. When you click a "Buy" link, you're taken to our licensed merchant partner who sells and ships the wine to you under their own terms of sale and privacy notice. We may earn a commission on sales made through those links — it never costs you more. See affiliate disclosure.

Liability

We try to keep the site accurate and available, but everything is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled in those courts.
